Elucido™ : Continuous measurement of blood analytes
Critical monitoring for the critically ill: Elucido™ is capable of measuring multiple blood analytes in real-time.
Elucido™ is easy to calibrate, enables non-invasive continuous monitoring and has minimal drift.
The Elucido™ platform has a user-friendly two-step calibration process with the first step being "invisible" to the user and requiring no specialised equipment. The second step is a single point-of-care blood measurement input to the device. No gas cylinders, no extended or labour-intensive calibration processes, and no separate calibration solutions.
The Elucido™ platform continuously measures blood analytes with no expected drift corrections required during the first 72 hours of continuous usage.
Elucido™ continuous sensing capabilities
Distinguishing itself from consumptive electrochemical sensors, SciLogica's fluorescent based chemistry provides a non-consumptive means of detecting analytes. These sensors drift less than electrochemical sensors and therefore can be used for longer monitoring periods.
Blood gases: pO2, pCO2, pH
Calculated Bicarbonate, calculated Base Excess
Calculated (in combination with SO2 and Haemoglobin) continuous oxygen consumption and oxygen delivery
Chemistries/Electrolytes: Ca2+, K+
Pipeline for Phosphate, Cl-, Na+, Mg2+
Metabolites: Glucose
Elucido™ is a fully customisable integrated platform
SciLogica is offering the Elucido™ platform as a next generation, white-label, continuous blood analyte measuring solution for select partners.
Our team will support you from our United Kingdom Technology Centre and our United States HQ.
Our engineers and scientists develop our products in a 4,500 sq foot (420 m2) facility that comprises laboratories and office space with an ISO class 7 cleanroom for sensor development and manufacture.
The schematic representation above illustrates a semi-integrated solution where the SciLogica Elucido™ platform is deployed with a customer's extracorporeal blood treatment system to enable continuous monitoring of a patient's blood analytes.
